Being one of only a few hunters each year
that are allowed to hunt exclusively on the Royal Deeside Estate
for roe deer, I can assure you will create one of the greatest
memories you have ever experienced in your hunting career. The
package we have put together includes all of your airfares and
airport transfers to and from our hunting area as well as all of
the meals, lodging, and guides while you are there. Harvesting
two trophy roe bucks will also be afforded to each of our
hunters. You can be part of a very elite group of hunters
should you decide to experience this spring roe deer hunt with
us in Scotland.
The roe deer are the only deer in the world
whose reproductive cycle utilizes a delayed implantation
process. That means the bucks develop their hard horn in May,
and are in full rut in the month of June. The embryo, however,
does not implant itself until the fall, so the young are born at
the normal time of the year each spring. Because of that cycle,
the best roe deer hunting takes place in June. In addition to
being an incredible experience, considering the privilege of
hunting the Royal estate, it also lets you break up the long gap
between the fall hunting seasons.
Our hunting package includes up to six
outings for roe deer (three morning and three evening outings)
with nearly every outing giving our hunters at least one
opportunity at a mature buck. Additional animals may be
harvested for a trophy fee, and additional days may be spent for
an additional daily rate. Meals and lodging are provided at the
unique Auld Kirk Hotel, a very elegant 18th Century remodeled
church in the nearby town of Ballater.
Included in the package is the delivery of
your trophies to a local taxidermist. He will take care of the
permits and shipping of your trophies back to the United States
which is your obligation.
Should you wish to bring along friends or
family on this great experience, we will also be providing
touring opportunities for our non-hunters and hunters who have
collected their trophies. My wife, Danielle, will personally
take you to historic castles and monuments, as well as shopping
antique shops, woolen mills, and other souvenir shops. Other
activities such as fishing, riding the estate ponies, or even a
potential tee time on the Royal Golf Course can all be part of
this incredible adventure.
Many of our clients extend their stay by
doing some additional touring on the European Mainland, or other
parts of the U.K. We can certainly assist you with all of those
travel plans as part of our service to you.
If you want to bring your own weapon on
this hunt, we will help you secure your gun permit, however,
renting your stalker’s weapon is much easier and convenient, and
nearly mandatory if you are doing any additional touring.
Because of the limited availability, and
the special nature of the property you will be hunting, booking
well in advance is a necessity. I hope you can be a part of
this incredible adventure sometime in your hunting career.
Yours in Good
Hunting,
Michael H. Grosse
