Kyrgyzstan no doubt represents some of the best valued hunting for the Mid-Asian Ibex and Marco Polo Argali that you will find. With the ibex hunt package still priced under 5,000 Euros, and the Marco Polo hunt under 20,000 Euros, these hunts remain a good value on the world sheep and goat hunting market.

Most camps are located at about 8,500 feet, and are the traditional Asian yurt and wooden cabins. They are warm, clean, and comfortable, with divided areas for dining, bathing, and sleeping. All base camps have an electric generator as well.

Hunting may include the use of horses, but spotting and stalking is the more typical approach, so being in reasonably good condition is important on this hunt.

Weather is usually more favorable and predictable in this region and hunting for the argali is a bit easier as the animals in this region prefer wide plateaus with sloping mountains, not such steep ledges as typical of other sheep hunts.
