Our continual
search for the best antelope country available in New Mexico has
kept this hunt one of my best trophy class hunts for the money.
This coming fall will be no exception. Every year we hunt a
good number of our old, reliable ranches, as well as open up
some new country. Our ranches have been game managed for many
years, and although I make no guarantees on this hunt, seldom
does anyone go home without having the opportunity to harvest a
buck that would qualify for the Safari Club Record Book. The
genetics of the animals in the area we hunt are very strong, and
that coupled with good nutrition and recent rains, means our
bucks are certainly capable of growing some great heads this
coming year.
We also have
guaranteed licenses, in that all of the hunting is done on
private ranches with private landowner permits. This means
there is no worry about drawing your license should you decide
to book this hunt.
The antelope
season in this part of New Mexico will take place the third
weekend in September. As you see, the season is only two days
long, however, that is plenty of time for you to collect your
trophy. We ask our hunters to arrive Friday afternoon for their
Saturday and Sunday hunt. If you can arrive with enough
daylight, it is nice to check your weapon one more time as
shooting distances in this wide open country can certainly
extend ranges longer than a lot of our other hunts.
All the meals,
lodging, and guides are provided, and you will find everything
to more than live up to your expectations.
I have no kill
fee or trophy fee on this hunt. Our company taxidermist will be
on location to immediately take care of caping your animal to
insure the proper care of your trophy. As you can see by the
photos, we certainly harvest some nice bucks, and the country is
wide open.
This is a very
exciting hunt, as animals are sited all day long. That coupled
with the fair weather normally experienced this time of the
year, all add up to a really great hunting experience.
Because our
licenses are strictly limited on each ranch that we hunt,
coupled with interest running very high for this hunt each year,
booking well in advance is a necessity. Upon the receipt of
your 50% deposit, which can be paid for with a personal check,
Visa or MasterCard, I will send you a receipt and confirmation
slip. Prior to the hunt you will receive a detailed information
packet that will help you plan your hunt, as well as answer any
of your last minute questions. A license application form will
also be included in that packet.
If you have any
further questions or desire to proceed with booking this hunt,
please don’t hesitate to contact me.
